Kids, dogs, laundry, homework, cleaning, play dates, dance class, shopping, work, children’s theater rehearsal, dinner with family, friend’s birthday get together….

And the list goes on and on. How on earth do we have time to do it all? We’re moms, we’re women, we are multi-taskers. Some of my best time management tips mostly have to do with organization. Here are three of my favorites.

1) Keep a three ring binder with plastic page protectors and section dividers. Each kids gets a section. When ever I get new schedules or fund raising papers or call lists that relate to that child, it goes straight into the binder. It’s a little thing, but it really helps.

2) Start dinner at lunch time, or even better, before noon. Crock pots are God’s gift to work at home moms. I also make casseroles and put them in the fridge for the man of the house to pop in the oven while I’m still sitting at dance class waiting on a little ballerina to finish up.

3)When it comes to MK business is a must. Who needs it to be on paper when it could be online? (If my binder for my kids could be online…oh what sweet bliss that would be.) Inventory? Bookings? Did she have Ivory 100 or 200? Got it! It’s all there baby!

(Come on, you didn’t think I was going to give time management tips with out mentioning did you?)
