As a Mary Kay consultant, you know that the months following the holidays can be a little lean in terms of sales figures. Things generally start to pick up once spring hits but in the meantime, we wanted to pass along a few tips to help give you a Valentine’s Day sales boost!

Tip # 1-

During any parties leading up to Valentine’s Day, have your clients make wish lists of things they would love to purchase but don’t have the budget for. After the party, have the host email the ladies significant other and pass along a few Valentine’s gift ideas. Your friends will love you for increasing their host rewards and you’ll make some extra cash too!

Tip # 2-

Identify your best selling products and make up some pretty gift bags. We love the idea of using the Passionfruit or Thinking of You products with a Valentine’s twist. Once you have assembled the gift bags, take a few good pictures and market them as last minute gift ideas on Facebook and Twitter. If you’re on Pinterest, post the photos to a blog and pin them to your business page. These gifts will be a huge hit with men and women alike.

Tip # 3-

Do you know a widow or a single mom? Why not make up a “Thinking of You” gift bag and drop it off at her house around Valentine’s Day? This holiday can be sad for women that have lost a husband or just don’t have someone special to share it with. These ladies will be touched that you thought of them and will be able to try out some amazing Mary Kay products. Who knows- you may end up with a new customer!
